analysts have a set allowance for copper supply disruptions each year... these strikes have pretty much eaten away most if not all of them. It is only March!
This year, there are also a lot of other mines in Chile which are set to have their worker contracts up for negotiations as well. They will certainly borrow a page from Escondida. Escondida certainly isn't going to be the last this year!
