I forgot to add that the Iranians (who are Indo-Ayrians) don't like the Arabs at all.
This could be because the Arabs invaded their country (it was then Persia) well over 1000 years ago. The Persians had their own rulers, religion, language and alphabet. They only thing they retained after the invasion was their language Farsi.
I got the impression,when I was there,that modern Iranians think they are superior to everyone else and in particular all Arabs who they seem to regard as rather primitive desert tribespeople.
