Funny you say that Mark. I did the same about 5 years ago and put all my eggs in one basket with AMP and got burnt.
Total novice (not that anything has changed). Ended up trading 1.5 mil to get my 30 odd k back and ended up even.
Jumped back in 4 weeks ago with 30k margined to the hilt as ive not seen a market like this and im up to 74k including original $.
I cant believe even my RSM accountant told me to sell when I told him last friday. As far as im concerned whenever i have doubts I pull up a decade graph of the asx and I know im going to stay for the ride. There will definately be bumps but theres only one way and that is up.
Anyone who had the luck to get in when I did and thats all it was not good management I think has fluked about one of the best bottoms to start punting hard in and I hope to turn my 30 into 100.
