    @eagle888 Fine.
    The number of times "with" was used rather than because/due to/from should have been the clue you need, however let's dive into why this is deliberately obfuscated. It's a careful choice of words because of how the statistics are reported.
    In addition, one must note that suspected cases are also included. Let's check out the reporting guidelines for US hospitals shall we?
    https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/covid-19-faqs-hospitals-hospital-laboratory-acute-care-facility-data-reporting.pdf
    a) Total hospitalized pediatricsuspected or confirmedpositive COVID patientsSubset:
    Patients currently hospitalized in a pediatric inpatientbed, including NICU, PICU, newborn, and nursery,who are suspected or laboratory-confirmed-positive forCOVID-19. Include those in observation beds.

    So in other words, kids who are in hospital with suspected or confirmed covid, regardless of WHY they were hospitalized, are included in the statistics reported back to the government and hence into the statistics this news article used.

    That article also made a summary that "At least 520 US children have died from Covid-19, according to CDC data. For the 2019-20 flu season, the CDC reported 199 confirmed pediatric flu deaths and an estimated 434 pediatric flu deaths."
    So - in ~18 months, 520 children have died from covid (ignoring the questionable reporting) yet in 12 months prior ~434 children died from the flu.
    Let me do the math - seems covid is less deadly than the flu for this demographic.... yet the article used those numbers to then proceed to claim that " One reason Covid-19 is deadlier for children than other infectious diseases....."
    Yeah typical fear mongering. Respiratory disease has and always will be a rare risk to some unfortunate children.

    Let's dive deeper, and closer to home, onto deaths reporting - once again the obfuscation differences in with and from.
    Yes, it's recently been admitted that deaths have been over-reported in Aus

    You know what I will suggest without backing up - that doctor lady has done many pro vaccine articles - one might wonder if she isn't also a lobbyist or receiving kickbacks.
    Let's see what the UK doctors and studies are saying about benefits to vaccinating kids....
