The simple fact is you have a junior with a large but non Tier 1 project that has a huge capex that needs a major to fund it, but the majors are looking for Tier 1 copper which is in the order of 500ktpa and several billion US$. The mid tier resource companies in Australia have disappeared or be obsessed with Li, Ni and Fe and are now going through austerity measures. The small junior can't get the majors interested, can't get find any mid tier JV partners and the banks resource departments have been reduced to 1 or 3 people if you are lucky who sit around waiting to be retrenched. Its a very sad state of affairs.
