Definitely agree with your comment, very naive decision by this board, shades of Bunnings getting sent home with their tails between their legs from Britain a few years ago, more so after the experience of Masters not being successful in Australia. Seems this is another poorly thought out decision by Wesfarmers Board. Wesfarmers, just stick to your knitting, that is selling hardware and stationary, mining and Kmart stuff stay away from politics, particularly controversial stuff, as you are aware, there are other options for the consumer and tradie , might take a bit of looking around to locate the Mitre 10 store, but can be done. I suggest you cancel the cheque or divide it evenly with the No camp..

Look how about cutting Chaney a bit of slack. I’ve had an interest in Wesfarmers and its predecessor the Cooperative since 1968. It has grown into one of the largest Companies in Australia under his leadership. It has also funded countless retired farmers into a comfortable retirement. So enough is enough, move on
