What a load of garbage (the response form Wesfarmers that is).

Obviously there wasn't much opportunity for dialogue - but of course I (and possibly everyone else) agrees with the view that Indigenous Australians (whatever that is) - as well as everyone else should be listened to.
Now if they really feel that stronglyabout The Voice then Wesfarmers should create their own 'Voice' i.e. identify the indigenous workforce -have the board develop a representative group which then has the right to speak to the board and all departments in Wesfarmers (whenever they fell like it); and it should be written in the Company constitution. Clearly that is impractical.

Wesfarmers either does not understand the issue or is telling porkies.

And if they really wanted to listen, why don't they listen to shareholders?

Oh, yeh.... because as Choppes say we should trust them rather than have a voice.
