guys predicting sp to go to a certain level (either up or down) are just hallucinating IMO... most predict in the direction of the trend ....chances of being correct are pretty good if you do so... the predictions come true not because you are a great chartist (they never post a chart suggesting why the sp will be at that level)... and when questioned about why they feel the sp will be at that level, their standard answer is "The trend is your friend"... very rarely do you see such predictors going against the trend and predicting the sp.... they cannot do so as they do not (in most cases) possess any skills in picking up a change in trend...

just last week on QBL (sorry not cross promoting the company here but giving an example), the slide in sp from 7c to 1.4c had everyone "predicting" the next move to 0.7c.... seemed logical as the slide had been relentless... every day they will come pumping their chest as to how they had predicted the next sp "accurately" ... but one announcement later, the sp did a U turn and from 1.4c went to 2.8c... a 100% increase... (of course most of these posters now were bragging how they sold at the very top - ego boosting is the only word that comes to mind)....

the point to note on speccies is they thrive only on new announcements... and if the management is ready to use some particular words in their announcements, it helps the sp to jump pips...

BGS is a speccie at this stage and one good announcement could easily double the sp.... no point in predicting the next stop in the general direction of the trend... if you have some really good charting skills and pick a change in trend before the rest of the market can, you are going to make money....
