Not sure that we should connect the dots so quickly with regards to IK's response re the sale of the land . What we can say for sure is that STO has no public plans to sell the Kooragang block at the moment.
The fact that ESG has info about NLNG still in their announcements would come under the ' business as usual ' header I guess.
As to all the work that ESG has done up to this point vs the seemingly pithy offer from STO , well , that's the $64000 question.
A. Is this their sneaky way of getting ESG on to the market and attracting other bids?
B. Have the production results been that poor that this is the best offer that ESG could get ?
C. Some other reason that I can't think of.
Don't get me wrong , I'm hanging in till fat lady time. Apart from hoping to see a financial increase along the way , I just want to know how the bloody thing's going to end !
The suspense is killing me.
