It will become a different matter, once the US interest rates are starting to pick up. That is a product of lowering the USD. It all takes time.
At the moment the situation is confused as several countries who hold $USD are having a look at the delinquent member (USA).
Seems that everyone is looking after their own interests (The Germans feel that they will get stung by a lowering of USD); it will be interesting to see what comes out of the IMF. Not that they will tell us much, I think.
Meanwhile debt is increasing. Trade deficit is still sky high and the Middle East is in a mess.
