There is something about this I just don't get.
According to HT (and OZL but I quote HT as he is more reliable), the accumulated losses for OZL are $2.4 billion. This is an asset
OZL say they have $1 billion in the bavnk. This is an asset
There are about 3.4 billion shares in OZL.
So when OZL was trading at $1 why didn't BHP or someone pick up OZL essentially for the pice of those assets, and then have PH and all the other tenements etc thrown in gratis.
Don't the mining companies count the accumulated losses as an asset or can't they realise them? Anyone with any ideas.
Is OZL still a tempting takeover target for the same reason
