'dngamouse' - it is illegal to do 'naked selling' - meaning it's illegal to sell something before you own it.
so as long as you bought it, you can sell whenever you want.
example:
buy on T = settlement on T+3
buy on T , then sell on T = difference hits your account on T+3... and so on....
buy on T , sell on T+1
T+3 money taken from your account for purchase
the next day which is T+1 +3 money from the sell credited to your account.
