SPPs usually have the effect of increasing the supply of shares on market.
But, you also need to look a bit more closely at the background of the company.
The SPP price is following a really strong run where the company has been put into the spotlight.
The SPP funds come at a time when the company is looking at getting at 23g/t gold in the ground. Looking at installing a concentrator underground. Looking at Rahu.
They pulled a rabbit out of the hat when they turned NTL from a 0.5 cent company into a 2-3 cent company.
I expect they intend to do it all over again but this time take it to the next level.
Those of use fortunate enough to be holders last week will have the benefit of some options upon taking up our SPP shares.
Those who are still looking into NTL do not have the benefit of access to rights or SPP shares, but they are getting their share on-market.
The upshot of all of this is that only shareholders got the offer and it's limited to $15,000 each. It also means in about 2 weeks time you won't be able to get any more at 2.035au or 2.2nz cents through the SPP, but the company will have cash to take the next big steps all while being 90 days away from pulling ore out of the ground.
Let the good times roll.
