i too think oil prices have peaked, but for how long?.
peak oil is still a reality and with opec's reserves diminishing it will be reluctant to continue its current output let alone increase it further which is almost an impossibility anyway.
the only solution is for every country to start looking at ways to become as self sufficient as possible and create transportation fuel from sources other than oil.
