It is entirely appropriate and desirable that those who suffered the loss are the beneficiaries of any compensation or damages.
But: Before MFS's collapse, Hutson successfully lobbied for Scott and his associates to become directors of MFS.
She was later appointed as an adviser to the board.
(and without a doubt was there during all financial
decisions precipitating PIF disaster outcome)
