I would think if there was to be an asset swap it would be for one or more of the licences in the Scicily Channel or Adriatic Coast which are said to hold possible large amounts of oil\gas and are offshore.
I think this would suit Hardman and NOP alike. NOP, unlike Hardman, have no experience of drilling offshore nor the resources to do so or procure a rig. However, Hardman have and some licences in a much safer part of the world than West Africa and Guyane would suit them to a tee I would assume.
Just imagine the impact on the share price if there was a tie up with Hardman for a greater %age of Guyane and this BP bloke arrived as well. I would think NOP giving up 25% on a few of the Scicily prospects would be worth a total of 10% Guyane. Just wishful thinking I know.
