I think also, that a lot of the punters, those that still have money left, are flocking to the "hot sectors" pushing those stocks to undeserved dizzy heights, and trying to recoup their losses. You just have to read some of the "yaaahooo 100 bucks here we go" threads, to see who the buyers are.


Buffet once said something like " The stock market is efficient in transferring wealth from those that dont have a clue to those that do"

something like that anyway.

Hopefully , some will survive and learn from it.


Something that has really stuck in my head from books I read before I started investing was......
The worst thing that can happen to a beginner is to have early success.... and every investor will face their 'Day of Reckoning' before they truly begin to understand what is required .
