Mr Winters, in the May Investor Update, various hypotheticals are provided regarding grade, recoveries etc, it may be easier to perform your calculations using these figures.
At 80% recovery, 1.4% copper, 3000tpd, 25.14m lb pa is expected. At $3.50 cu, this equates to 25.14 x 3.50 = US$88M. Subtract from this a suitable cost price per pound of payable copper. I am unsure if there would then be other costs required to be subtracted or the extent of them. At 4000tpd production target is raised to 33.5m lb.
Also, shouldn't NP be used instead of EBIT? What would be a reasonable reduction figure I wonder?

We are not sure who this member really is, but he/she joined HC just after the ANZ/Opes situation emerged.
