    POG behaviour & performance over 8 rate hike cycles starting in 1972 - latest 2004. Overall is outperform....

    I still believe gold (i'm talking bullion) is meant for hedging instrument (not casino gambling instrument). It should be 5-10% of your entire wealth. If your net worth is $1 mil (less debt), then owning 50k-100k worth of gold makes sense. The other valuable hard asset spread to own is property with land title (not apartment). If you had this 2 two for about 15 yrs ago minimum, you are set for life.
