There can be a global glut of energy but it only impacts the LNG business if you haven't contracted your LNG already based on a crude linked price. No Australian producer has any signficant volume of LNG uncontracted.
It does affect new projects and the prices they get in the market. Overall though, the cooling in the construction market will help get the up front capex down, which may benefit overall project economics.
Once these LNG projects get started the cash generation is phenomenal. Watch WPLs next report.
