just been looking at us futures and options expiry info on cbot. Its interesting that their contracts expire after the close of the business day Friday US time, and only some (options I think) are based on the opening price tonight. I'm not sure but it may be that we'll only see the stock indexes reaction to the expiry on Monday night US time rather than tonight because unlike aussie the us contracts don't expire during the trading session. Anyone got a better handle on this?
