I agree with you, the bottoming process could happen at any time what I was trying to highlight was that I think the market will bottom when all the unknowns have been priced in, i.e it doesn't necessarily have to happen when there is no more bad news rather when we have bad news and the market doesn't go down anymore. For me, that's the barometer of a bottom

To call a bottom when the market is down so hard so fast just because we have a nice rally on Friday is very premature
