some months ago on this forum I said that we should not expect high headgrades because the method of mining adopted by CGT will produce substantial dilution of the ore
CGT is not using airlegs for narrow vein mining (such as SLR who are doing it that way) but CGT is using jumbos, which is in effect a modification of Lihir's bulk mining strategy
I expected low headgrades so it is now somewhat amusing for me to see the company's financing problem and the panic selling that low headgrades has produced
