We as a general don't. We hate paying for something that we don't get an immediate return from. The overall state of affairs in the world financial markets is concerning. Those that make the decisions don't even seem to have a plan to address the root of the problem.... well that's not quite true... not one that they wish to openly declare to the people who voted them into power at least.
Devaluation of currency seems like their chosen way out. Where does this leave people like you and I? ....needing insurance and plenty of it... They themselves are buying insurance by moving their dodgy bets to 'too big to fail' buckets which will, if history repeats, be saved by the printing press and political spin doctoring.
The time is approaching for the charade to stop. Only then will people look at their insurance policy to read the fine print and realise they are not covered for inflation, dollar devaluation and they will panic to begin accumulating assets which will create the biggest rise in history of PMs.... get some today...IMOO
