    As a former AOH holder (sold out before the mine sale), I watched that saga unfold with increasing bemusement as it dragged on.

    I also seem to recall HAV citing that deal as the sort of deal they were looking to make with regards to Kalkaroo so that's of interest too.

    However, there is one very important point of difference worth noting, and I think is a cause for optimism for HAV holders, and that is SRIG are not really a mining company.

    This is how they were described in AOH's ASX release dated 26/06/2015: "The group’s principal businesses are in the road, bridge and rail construction and management sectors". The release goes into further detail, but nowhere does it say they are miners.

    Wanbao Mining are miners with operating mines. And I think they would have got a reminder the last couple of weeks of the perils of working in a country like Myanmar.
