Veteran Labor strategist Bruce Hawker has been flown to Brisbane to work on the Bligh campaign. He is quoted in the Australian today as saying that the focus will be on Ashmore and other marginal seats. Labor had a margin of over 7% in Ashmore at the last election but internal polling must saying they are in danger of losing it to Newman.
