The Big Bang is a real problem for physicist to explain because the Universe had a cause, a finite point of creation.

Scientific evidence supports the theory that the universe began with a gigantic explosion called the big bang. As a result, the universe continues to expand even today. BB left behind clues that still reside in the universe. Background radiationis a clear indication that the BB occurred. These BB cosmic ripples that we can study today scientifically substantiate the big bang model.

The question is what caused the big bang and this is the kicker for god deniers such as Hawkins.

The study of strings theory allowing for multidimensional universes also is such a problem for atheists.

The mathematics is very neat and the effects we are observing is very problematic. Hawkins needs a theory because more scientist are coming to the conclusion of intelligent design. The grand design of the universe with its intricate balance of billions of galaxies statistically happens one time in 10 to the power of 99. This is virtually impossible.
