I will be honest I don’t know much about
Howard’s intervention and I would need to read
    some and form an opinion.
I see a lot of ills in the world, including the
indigenous situation. The problem is I don’t
see any real solutions being offered. I see
childish acts by some so called leaders. I have
seen a PM give an apology yet nothing has
changed for the indigenous people. Now Albo
wants us to vote for something that is unknown
and can’t explain how it will work. We have
    forced celebrations before football games,
acknowledgements when landing at an airport
and indigenous AFL rounds. These token
gestures are about as useless as our former
PM praying in church on a Sunday.
The way I see it is we aren’t all going to depart
and go back to where are heritage is , so we have
to make the best of what we’ve got.
We need real solutions and the way I see it is
we need to make decisions as one people.
We are never going to please everyone and we
need some leadership where the powers that be
    make some hard decisions.
Unfortunately I think the people on the hard left
are as bad as the people on the hard right, then
there is a bunch of people in the middle who
    couldn’t care less.
To be honest when people claim racism
every five minutes when they feel slighted, it’s
like the boy crying wolf and it turns me off
    their cause.
