    I can understand your point of view on this topic
    and I’m not opposed to something if it will
    bring real change to the human suffering.
    My first experience with indigenous people was
    in the NT in 1982 and I was appalled at what I
    saw. Unfortunately I don’t think much has changed.
    I personally would be willing to make some
    concessions if we could get together as a
    collective and move forward as one nation.
    I’m not opposed to finding real solutions and I
    think a trial under legislation could be a good
    compromise to a straight out referendum.
