I find it very hard to believe a club can e.g convince a women into an abortion (but a husband could), force apartheid, etc. The players weren't in chains and indigenous are well known for going walkabout mid season.

ABC has been featuring Eddie Betts whining about psychological hurt. Why do these players (Betts, Goods, etc) ruin their universal hero image by pandering to woke media. They could do much more by keeping their heads held high and their mouths shut just like sports legends have done in the past.

There is reverse pressure from families and some irresponsible WAGs.

It is galling to have an "investment" go walkabout
when payday is looming.
