If this is so, then Happy Birthday, Hazel Hawke.

Not a fan of Bob's would be putting it mildly; but this feisty lady now cannot defend herself, or answer back to Blanche's published (subjective) angles of all things family private. Not that she would anyway. Too much class.

Well done to her daughter for defending her.

Like many loyal women end up - post being an electioneering asset - a discarded "handbag."

Keating's ex-wife would empathise, no doubt.

(And while I'm on it - amazing co-incidence that good 'ol ABC TV comes up with an "Underbelly" style drama starring much more goodlooking versions of Hawke/Keating. Right on the eve of a Federal Election!
So now they are film stars?
A bit like the piece on Gillard on ABC's Australian Story -re-hashed from years earlier - (why??) - and shown three nights before Rudd was 'suddenly' "assassinated." (Insider knowledge?)
Good old "independent, non biased" ABC!
    Call me a cynic!)
