I doubt they would buy green electricity. In Perth, you can basically get free electricity for this kind of thing if you use it intensely between 9am and 3pm. Overnight rates are like 5c kwh. During the day, they are looking to stabilise the grid due to too much solar, over night they are trying to keep the coal on. Effective management should keep costs cheap.
