hmm i think you guys might be right. probably none of that 2 t is optimal..and its just the total of everything produced to date so it might only be running on average at 5-10% target output rate so far.
that being said if their objective was really just to lock in the next funding milestone, (which sounds like it was more about achieving continuous runtime than a particular output quality or quantity, that would help explain the careful calculated approach.
i expect it wont be too long before we start to hear more about efficiency improvements followed by announcement of dispatch of first commercial product for assessment
