Your argument about li ion batteries is an interesting one...

How are those li ion batteries getting charged..

The correct answer is solar and wind... the incorrect answer is there is no place in Australia and very few over the planet that are completely fueled by renewables. Therefore all of your batteries in essence are being filled by electricity generated by fossil fuels.

If your argument is that hydrogen is generated by renewables for storage and then reconstituted in a fuel cell to retrieve the energy and is therefore very inefficient, and in Elon Musk’s words ‘unbelievably stupid’ you will get no argument from anyone on this forum.. that discussion has been had many times..

If your argument is that storing co2 emitted energy in li ion batteries where Hazer hydrogen is being produced from bio fuel, as a carbon negative system, stored and then combined with oxygen in a fuel cell to generate electricity. You will see why this forum would jack up against your comments.

Hazer is using bio methane which is normally burnt in generators to produce electricity (releasing co2) or flared as methane is a green house gas 7 x worse than co2. Hazer is cracking the gas into its hydrogen and carbon components producing hydrogen energy, and solid synthetic graphite. Gaining 100t of carbon credits per ton of hydrogen produced.
