The other thing, I found important in your post @Michaeljob is that most of the targets seem to have been achieved.

The only thing the hazer team need to prove is purity, of graphite, and hydrogen at scale. BUT,

Even if that wasn’t achieved purification systems and techniques can be added to achieve desired results. These can be costly as you mentioned in your post. But the purities mentioned in previous announcements off fundamental testing would be ‘adequate’ to achieve a profitable plant. And this is NOW. Any tweaking of the process to achieve higher purities straight out of the system would reduce costs and increase profits.

A recent thought I had was to do with this new ‘filter’ that the CSIRO have developed, to seperate ammonia from hydrogen in the most recent buzz articles.

apparently the ammonia is ‘cracked’ when it reaches its destination from Australia, say japan. So a similar system to the hazer process. Heated, then pushed at the filter. The spacings in the filter are so minute, only hydrogen passes. Purifying it to the 99.(5 nines) ready for fuel cell use.

So what if hazer use the same filter. Recycling the removed gas to re-enter the process. No need for expensive purification equipment...

    Just a thought.
