HBX Group (Hotelbeds) are WEB's no. 1 competitor. In the bed banks industry, HBX are no.1 and WEB are no. 2, however, they both are no.1 in their own niches of the industry - HBX are no.1 at the pre-buy model, where as WEB are no. 1 at the partnership model.
HBX reported 1H25 results overnight. It was a great result and they maintained FY25 and medium-term guidance. This considerably de-risks WEB's upcoming results and guidance to be given. I'm also hopeful we see WEB guide to a recovery in TTV margins. If we get a solid result and guidance indicating a recovery in TTV margins, SP should go bonkers.
