Reading some of the posts here on HC about the content of some of the wikileaks releases makes me laugh.
Some people just have no idea of what goes on in the real world and even moreso what goes on in the world of intelligence.
The wikileaks stuff is fluff - it really doesn't matter. It's only secret and confidential classified material.
Most of the State Department stuff is nothing more than gossip, rumour, and material that could have been picked up from open sources.
They didn't even bother to disguise their sources or the subject of the cables.
Are people really upset that mr x from country y is talking to the USA about miss c?
What do people think goes on at joint ops such as at Pine Gap?
Do people really think that only the USA gathers intlligence at the UN?
People - get real!!!
