That sell down, too, amounted to just over one per cent of the issued stock. (Admittedly, others might have wanted out but couldn't get out.)

It's also worth recalling that just two months ago, sophs - briefed by management - were happy to stump up $600k at a 50% premium. Suckers, or savvy?

It also perplexes me that MT and team would spend 12-plus months, and several hundred thousand, preparing for never-to-eventuate PASS. If, as our new-found mate alleges, the whole thing is a ruse to extend management salaries for as long as possible, why go through an elaborate charade that was easily disprovable? Why not just string out the gold theory that attracted so many to NAG in the first place?

Don't get me wrong: Emotionally I'm in the same place as the rest of you. Rationally, though, today just doesn't add up. So for 12-plus months, the price of PASS has been one-tenth of the price disclosed by NAG to the ASX and yet this was miraculously discovered on the day of the AGM. Really?

The one thing I will say is that having watched its SP hammered by a third in a day, largely it seems based on information disclosed on HC, NAG should surely issue a statement reiterating its view that PASS is $140 a tonne and that we are confident of commercially under-cutting that. Under these circumstances, it is not enough to rely on information already in the public domain.

Come on, Ainsley, please enlighten us.

IMO, the HC downraping was a fluke coincidence where CG drop 4M shares. Here's hoping it was the last of his shares.... There was the on form pump (building up the buyers at 13c,12.5, 12) then the dump.
