My point is that everything is a risk in life. It just depends on how well you can calculate the odds of putting money down.
My other point is that threads like this are stupid. It's not impossible to win and make money on shares nor on small caps. You just have to truly understand what makes the market move rather an having simplistic all or nothing views in which sweeping generalisations reign supreme.
