yes, it's pretty annoying and usually happens around this cycle in the market. More and more of the quailty posters get harrased or drawn into non-stock related debates. And many eventually either stop coming, go somewhere else (MIRC for example) or opt to lurk only.
Eventually the market turns down and a lot of the nuisance people either do their dough or find something else more interesting to do with their time. Gradually the community builds back up again, and some of the "old folk" even re-emerge once again (unfortunately, some never come back).
