It's bollocks! Capitalism is not the system where you make something society needs and you get rewarded for it. You have capitalism confused with something else. Capitalism is the system where the means for subsistence are held by the state on behalf of the capitalists and a small amount is rationed out to workers in exchange for how ever much productivity can be squeezed out of them and appropriated by the capitalists. We are also told that capitalism tends to perfect equilibrium with full employment and efficient allocation of resources, and it is crisis which needs explanation, but this is bollocks. Crisis is fundamental to capitalism. This is the equilibrium condition.
