What you need to understand, Bigmack, is that there is a deep sense of frustration prevalent in all these foul-mouthed posts. these people are share-traders who are losing money. notice how they will bang on endlessly about the housing-bubble? anything to take their mind off the fact that the market is tinged with fear & uncertainty.

I am not talking about everyone on this forum. many of the contributors are able to express their points of view without resorting to f...-words & swearing. but it must be admitted, the english language is not very versatile when it comes to expressing strong sentiment of the hate & despise kind. if you reckon someone is a rotten lowdown c... or a stupid pr..., then what else are you supposed to call him?

any suggestions will be welcomed.

P.S. two expressions which we seem to have obtained from our friends in hollywood, but they've been around for a long time before they relaxed the Hayes code:
