The disclosed list grows from 32M to now 36.924M shareholdings with perhaps another 2.8M in the undisclosed list, This combined represents 40M shares, a clear top 5 group of shareholders in MBN.
So we know:-
1. Wellington sits on 5.1% holdings hidden in institutional trust accounts
2. Wellington has a -US$11M loss at an average breakeven SP of 35c-41c averaged down from 45c-50c.
2. other US NHs sit on a breakeven SP of 45c-50c with some of them actively buying to average down
3.CN holders of US$100M at US17c @79cAUS = 21.5cAUS = 588M potential dilution shares if taken before any buyback/retirement
4. we have 40M shares which is the whole of the remaining freeheld shares sans NHs holdings
5. some NH sold down some shares at 4c-44c-3c-10c reopen but barely any since
6, Pioneer Funds have 80M shares combined spread around
7. cash to book is now 23% of MC or 1-4.34 but will be 1.0 or 13.0c per share by December.
8. EPS are 3.5c now and rising
9. PE ratio is ~3.5 now or 1.0 PER to 2016 earnings. (normally a 10-18 multiple, say 14)
10. MBN MC is substantially undervalued on all std market parameters.
Looks like there arent many freeheld shares left out there at all. The DOCA cut the prior holding to 18M shares with many buying back into average down. These buyers have proven right as we actually hold shares in profit rather than the US NHs who still hold massive losses on debt/CN cash input of US$550M @79cAUS =$696M - $105M (95% of AUS$111M MC) = -$591M AUS.
Incredibly, we small guy buyers have made more profits than these large US bondholders. Now with volume dried up, they have nowhere else to go but up to their break even SP targets.
This will frustrate and upset them but it was inevitable if they were soaking up small holders this low in the cycle. They must have expected it. So from what i can see its a Phase 2 bore us to death n the dry desert phase & compounded by our sellers strike. Maybe planning the Phase 3 Rocket ride phase with MBN management.
Hold Strong hold Long.
MBN is the lean mean liquidity cash machine.

Just to update your figures tomboy,
My accumulation is 1.6m
Keep up the good work, and remember holders not to feel intimidated by sudden downswings and silly games, just believe in the fundamentals of why you bought in the first place
