Considering that mandatory vaccines only impact poor people, I find it quite interesting that the typical "champions of the poor" political group is the one advocating for the destruction of the rights of poor people. Rich people don't need to vaccinate, the fines are based in currency at values that are meaningless to rich people. Clive palmer isn't vaccinated, do you think it matters to him whether there's a mandate or not, he could pay the fine if breached it, then hop on his private plane and not wear a mask any day of the week. His employer doesn't fire him, he is the employer.
I think when homeless people cannot enter the bread shop because they need a $1000 iPhone and a covid passport green tick to even enter, we are getting into some real bourgeois elite bullshit. Is the Government going to hand out free iPhones for citizenship in this country, do you pop out of the womb and get a free iPhone with your birth certificate? Didn't think so.
This entire mandate and passport system is a disaster.
Promote the vaccine on grounds of compassion and good will. Leave the classist narcissism at home.
