Hi bdell,
Thanks for the reminder on policy - I broadly agree with your points around the manner in which posts are made - it's important to be polite.
However, just to present information correctly, IMO I believe the current recovery rate is higher than you estimate/indicate in your post.
My calcs are previously detailed in some depth (in my posts) and indicate forward looking recovery rate of 370k carat pa. My new estimate - high side - assume 6 days per week by 760ct per day (it's the 'possible' based on current processing IMO):
Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 0 Current High 1 Artisinals 4,433 4,433 2 Plant 2,683 4,560 3 Weekly 7,116 8,993 4 Annual 370,035 467,626
Information is historically sourced from JORC sections of last reports as provided by company & artistinal recoveries average per week since March this year.
I strongly believe, the plant is capable of higher recovery than this - ie 500k pa is not unrealistic as a forward guideline if more than 1 shift per day is planned going forward.
So, I agree the tone and politeness of some posts in the past is unreasonable, but the logic behind the post may not be flawed (or the poster may have got lucky with an estimate). But don't throw the baby away with the bathwater.
Cheers
Capt Amazing
