Yes, I am proud of being Australian, and where I post from it seems is not under my control, because I did not post from Singapore, at least, that's not and never has been where I am. Australians aping everything American does not fill me with pride however. Why is it so hard for us simply to be who we are? I have no problem with HC having an international aspect, or being proud of it, but I do have one with so many things being varnished over with Americanisms, as if that must be the best way, as our own can't be any good by definition. Here's hoping I have not flitted to Ulan Bator or Oaxaca for this post!
