Seaborne coking coal market sees robust trading activity
The seaborne coking coal market continued to gain strength on Thursday November 9 as trading activity picked up further.

A cargo of top-quality premium hard coking coal was heard to have changed hands above $195 per tonne cfr China. Another cargo of lower-ranked premium hard coking coal was heard offered substantially below that level, however. Cargoes of second-tier hard coking coal were also heard to have changed hands at $146-150 per tonne fob Australia, and pulverized coal injection (PCI) materials, at around $115-116 per tonne fob Australia.
