Holy canoodle, HCH has been absolutely smashed over the last 6 months, wasn't our SP sitting around AU$2.50 prior to the disastrous Canadian CR!? Anyhow, though I'd take a look at our closest ASX-listed copper competitors, to see how they're also fairing given the global hysteria of rising inflation and interest rates.

I've sorted the legend of the ASX-copper companies in the YTD chart below roughly by MC, albeit I had to remove AR1 (sadly I don't hold) as they've had 200% gains YTD which compacts the data range of our other competitors. Also, for whatever reason, CommSec shows that large cross trade on 11-04-2022 as an OBV gain, which is incorrect, as YTD HCH has seen ~2.5 million shares sold, hence the obliteration of our SP with no significant insto support.

However, it appears it's not just HCH that has been punished for slow project updates / delivery over the last 2 years, or fears that Capex may blow out given change in global finances. That said, how many of HCH's competitors have massive near surface (Cu, Au, Mo, Ag) resources, worth 10's of billions, that should allow payback of said Capex relatively quickly in the production cycle.
