I actually agree with this. Now I'm not privyy to all the goings on behind the scenes but surely a 30% premium would never get up. But at least it could start to create some competitive tension between the majors Glencore, BHP etc and backstop the shareprice. But these deals are never bought to shareholders or the wider market and all we see is share price decline then more discounted raises. Really makes you question what is going on.

This from NAB during her preso, it's right at the end and one would imagine it's a reflection of the state of affairs at HCH headquarters. “and what happens you start to miss out is you tend to make decisions which are a little more aggressive and more emotional.”
