Ironically, I think they could’ve done better to combat the online deluge of content. They could’ve offered monthly memberships at 10 or 12 dollars for unlimited monthly old release movies up to a maximum of 5 copies at a time. They could’ve also rented new releases at cheaper prices than that is offered on google play or apple. The prices of google and apple are extortionist at best because there is no competition anymore. The bricks and mortar video stores should’ve been able to compete but they didn’t have anyone with the smarts to do it. I don’t know about you, but I miss the experience of going to my local video store and browsing for a Friday night flick
